Borovetz is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria and the biggest ski centre with the length of the ski tracks and the capacity of its facilities. Borovetz is situated at 1350 m above the sea level, among venerable conifers, in the skirts of the highest peak on the Balkan peninsula – Peak Mousala / 2925 m/.
